Series · Psychology & Personal Development

A psychology show for people
who are mid-change.

Not affirmations, not a morning routine. Conversations about identity, ambition and repair with people in the middle of becoming someone slightly different.

Personal development has a credibility problem, and it earned it. The genre rewards certainty: five steps, one framework, a man on a stage who has never doubted himself in public. Actual change looks nothing like that. It is slow, unglamorous, frequently embarrassing, and usually happens in a period the person cannot yet describe.

This series films exactly that period. We sit with founders, artists, athletes and thinkers who are in between chapters, and we ask about the interior work rather than the highlight reel.

01Identity

Who are you when the title goes?

The exit, the injury, the album that finished, the company that sold. High performers build a self around a role, and then the role ends. We talk about the months afterwards — the ones nobody posts about — and what people found underneath.

02Ambition

The difference between drive and fear.

A great deal of what gets celebrated as discipline is avoidance with a good publicist. We ask guests when they first noticed the engine was running on something painful, what it cost, and whether they would give it up if they could keep the results.

03Repair

What actually changed you.

Therapy, a diagnosis, a friendship, a book, a specific sentence somebody said at the wrong moment. We ask for the mechanism, not the moral — and when a guest says they do not know, that is an answer we keep in the edit.

04Rigour

Clinicians in the room.

Personal stories are not evidence. Alongside the guest interviews we bring in psychologists and researchers to say plainly what the research supports, what it does not, and where the popular version of a concept has drifted from the science. No supplements, no protocols, no promises.

05Relationships

The people who saw it happen.

Change is rarely solo. Partners, cofounders, coaches, siblings — the ones who absorbed the version of you that was hardest to live with. We ask what the people closest to a guest paid for their transformation, and whether it was ever discussed.

06Humour

Serious, and occasionally very funny.

Solemnity is not the same as depth. The most honest interviews we have done are also the funniest, because people tell the truth faster when they are allowed to find themselves ridiculous. That is the tone of the whole show: intensive, insightful, and never po-faced.

For people mid-crossing.
